It was an absolute pleasure to capture the hero and branding photography for the new Native Bush and Beach Collection for Paul and Paulie recently.
Paul and Paulie are a New Zealand company run by Rachel & Peter Emmanuel. Paul and Paulie designs, creates and produces stunning, sustainable and affordable babies, children’s and Mum’s clothing.

The products are designed in New Zealand for our climate. They are designed to be breathable, great on skin and stay soft after every wash.
The new collections were designed by Rachel and inspired by the beautiful flora, fauna, beaches and bushes we have in New Zealand.
When Rachel got in touch regarding the hero and branding photography required for Paul and Paulie, we set up an meeting where we discussed who the brand appeals to, what market they were wanting to attract. We also discussed the look and feel of the photo session and what the final images needed to convey.
We worked together on recruiting models to wear the stunning garments for our photo session. We captured all of the images at Cockle Bay Beach. Using the sandstone wall, the Pohutukawa trees, grassy areas and native bush as our backdrops. We had multiple models (including 3 babies, four toddlers and little kiddies and beautiful Mums) that all wore the different garments and had multiple outfits changes thought out the session.
The final images are vibrant, fun, reflective of New Zealand nature, kiwi kids and the Paul and Paulie brand.
